18.4.83 Mudgeeraba Ladies Bowling Club was formed. Norma Wheatley was the first president. Mr John Kearney was appointed as Men's Club Patron.

15.5.83 First general meeting of foundation members was held. Mr Bob Hannant president, Mr Bob Aitken senior vice president, Mick Kimber junior vice president, Greg Lindgren secretary, John Dutton treasurer Ron Ewin, Jack Haran, Doug Newlan and George Parker as committee.

13.8.83 First lady bowler‘s street stall by lrene Hannant.

28.11.83 Albert Shire Council allocates a 30 year lease over 5 acres or so of land to the club. This land was previously owned by Mr Kearney who indicated that he would like to see a bowling club on site.

11.12.83 The first games of bowls were played at Helensvale.

21.5.84 Second Annual General Meeting.

Third Annual General Meeting.

30.6.85 Foundation Membership closed.

20.5.86 MBC was incorporated by Queensland Associations lncorporations Act 1981.

20.6.86 Margo Quartermaine donates old house suitable for updating as a club house. Cost of transporting $6,000. Donations: M Quartermaine $2,000, J Kearney, $2.500 and Mudgeeraba Rotary $1.500.

21.4.87 Construction of Greens. Received grant of $88,000 from Federal and State Governments funded Community Employment Program, for construction of greens and the employment of 11 long term unemployed persons.  A further grant of $20,000 by the Albert Shire Council for the clubhouse project.

19.3.88 The first green was opened by Judy Gammon MLA. The second green was opened by Herb Young, President of GCTBA some few months later.

11.8.1988 Club granted affiliation with Royal Queensland Bowls Association.

18.11.89 Official opening of club house by Judy Gammon MLA. The opening party was a great event, largely due to the ladies once again.

1.7.92 Mens and Ladies club affiliated with Royal Queensland Bowls Assoc.

10.9.94 Amalgamation of ladies and mens clubs - Mr John Waugh - Chairperson Mrs Val Campbell - vice Chairperson.

5.1.95 First district ladies championship held at our club.

1.6.95 Lights turned on Greens Number 1.

.2003 James Smith appointed as Secretary/Manager, and operating as manager.

2004 Men's team wins the very first District No. 3 Pennant. What a 21st birthday present.

From that time up to present day, the club has been upgraded but still has attained that relaxed atmosphere.  Some of the improvements include  - lighting of the second green, air-conditioning, revamped bar and BBQ area, new furniture, solar installation, new shades and scoreboards, and upgraded poker machines.  So if you are after a game of bowls, a roll-up, bare-foot bowls, meal, drink or a go on the pokies, come on down to our club
